My review for the video

This music video is very good because they used editing, camera work, mise en scene and performance very effectivly. For mise en scene they picked a good location which related with the theme and lyrics of the song. The forest environment makes it very mysterious and spooky. Also the costume and make up is effective. It makes the video look more professional, plus it adds that extra step to make the video look better for the audience ( it does not look plain and boring). The performance is important because without the girl acting well, the video would look unprofessional, plus it would make it look like no effort was put into the video which will make the audience not like it. The lighting added an effect to the video which related to the theme of it. This is good because they where creative and used a variety of things to make the video look good.  Finally the editing was used well because they mixed together fast pace with slow pace, which made the video look better for the audience. Also the editing flowed with the song/beat.

In summary, i think this video got high marks (A) because it was very effective and creative, plus it used many techniques which a music video should have.
